Job Description : Provide outpatient services under the direct supervision and responsibility of a physician Dedicated to one physician Part Time schedule - Typically 8am-5pm - The specific days and number of days per week will be mutually agreed upon, based on the candidate’s availability and the final number of part-time hours. Austin Gastro practice locations on Hero Way and Wyoming Springs No other satellite locations No call responsibilities No inpatient responsibilities Dedicated to one physician Seeing both new patients and follow-up patients, approximately 12 patients per full clinic day Complete patient histories and physicals Determine tentative diagnosis and order appropriate laboratory tests Counsel patient and family on health and disease Participate in all continuing education, training, and other requirements to remain in good standing for credentialing purposes at assigned medical facilities Perform other duties as assigned Required and Preferred Qualifications: TX State Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant required Experience working as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant required Comfortable working in a busy and thriving practice required Gastrointestinal experience preferred GI Alliance is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
