This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Vice President of Key Account Acquisitions based in the United States. This is a high-impact origination and business development leadership role focused on building and converting a strong pipeline of acquisition opportunities. You will serve as a trusted advisor to prospective clients, guiding them through complex transaction processes from initial engagement to closing. The role combines relationship management, sales strategy, negotiation, financial analysis, and transaction execution. You will evaluate opportunities, structure preliminary terms, and build compelling solutions for property owners. Success will require disciplined pipeline management, strong commercial judgment, and a highly competitive mindset. You will also contribute to strategic initiatives and product innovation while developing deep expertise across telecom and infrastructure investments. Own and manage a personal origination pipeline, using curated market and prospect data to move opportunities from initial engagement through executed closing. Build trusted relationships with prospective clients and act as their primary advisor throughout the ground lease buyout process. Identify, qualify, and evaluate acquisition opportunities while maintaining a disciplined and consistent approach to pipeline development. Negotiate directly with property owners and structure preliminary transaction terms that align client needs with investment objectives. Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual origination targets, prioritizing activities and opportunities to consistently deliver results. Lead transactions through the sourcing and negotiation stages, coordinating effectively toward successful execution and closing. Apply strong commercial judgment and financial understanding when assessing opportunities, including concepts such as IRR and NPV. Contribute to strategic business initiatives and product innovation designed to strengthen market positioning and expand acquisition opportunities. Develop and maintain deep knowledge of the telecommunications, renewable energy, real estate, and infrastructure investment sectors. Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders while sharing market insights, transaction learnings, and opportunities for process improvement. Requirements Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, or at least 4 years of relevant business-to-consumer sales experience. Demonstrated natural sales ability, strong business acumen, and a track record of consistently delivering measurable results. Proven experience in negotiating transactions from initial sourcing through closing. Exceptional negotiation, influencing, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build credibility and trust with sophisticated stakeholders. Experience or familiarity with real estate closing processes and transaction structures. Understanding of fundamental finance concepts, including internal rate of return (IRR) and net present value (NPV). Background in or exposure to renewable energy, commercial real estate, mortgages, telecommunications, land acquisition, mineral rights acquisition, or similar transaction-oriented industries is highly valued. Strong pipeline management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple opportunities and meet demanding origination targets.
