This is a senior commercial planning opportunity focused on ensuring the accuracy, governance, and end-to-end management of sales targets. You will work closely with Sales, Trade Marketing, Finance, and Commercial Strategy to translate business objectives into actionable targets. The role combines data analysis, commercial planning, technology, and stakeholder management in a highly collaborative environment. You will manage large datasets, monitor targets and inventory indicators, and identify gaps between plans and actual performance. Your insights will support leadership decisions, improve planning processes, and strengthen the quality of commercial execution. The position also offers opportunities to leverage automation, generative AI, and new technologies to increase operational efficiency. This is a remote, high-impact role for an analytical professional who enjoys connecting data, strategy, and business performance. Manage and structure commercial targets: Break down, format, validate, and communicate sales targets by region and customer, assessing their impact on customer inventory levels and Days of Hand (DOH). Maintain data and systems: Continuously update, organize, and maintain official target databases within Google Cloud Platform (GCP), ensuring data reliability and governance. Support operational planning: Project and monitor monthly target phasing and daily allocation by region, ensuring accurate inputs and timely updates in GCP. Ensure governance and provide feedback: Critically analyze requests and challenges related to target revisions, providing clear and technically supported responses to the commercial team. Analyze commercial performance: Conduct post-mortem analyses comparing actual results with planned targets, identifying performance gaps, root causes, and opportunities for adjustment. Develop strategic analyses: Prepare ad hoc studies, reports, and insights for leadership while supporting recurring commercial planning activities. Collaborate with stakeholders: Work closely with Sales, Trade Marketing, Finance, and Commercial Strategy to align targets, inventory perspectives, financial objectives, and broader sales strategies. Drive continuous improvement: Identify opportunities to automate operational routines, improve planning processes, and increase efficiency through technology and data-driven solutions. Requirements Education: Bachelor's degree completed or in progress in a relevant field. Professional experience: Previous experience in Commercial Planning, Sales Intelligence, Commercial Strategy, or similar analytical functions. Data and SQL: Strong SQL skills, including querying and manipulating large volumes of data. Google ecosystem: Advanced proficiency with Google Sheets and Google Slides for analysis, reporting, and presentations. Cloud platforms: Practical experience navigating and updating databases in Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Commercial analytics: Experience building and monitoring indicators related to sales targets, inventory/DOH, seasonality, and target phasing. Analytical thinking: Strong logical and critical reasoning, with the ability to connect data from different sources and quickly identify inconsistencies or opportunities. Technology and AI mindset: Practical interest in automation, generative AI, prompt engineering, and emerging technologies that can improve day-to-day commercial operations. Communication and negotiation: Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to clearly explain analyses, negotiate priorities, and respond effectively to commercial requests.
