This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Performance Director based in India. This is a senior performance marketing leadership role responsible for driving profitable growth across a diverse portfolio of ecommerce brands. You’ll own paid media strategy, budgets, channel performance, and the development of a high-performing media buying function. The role spans major acquisition channels including Meta, Google, TikTok, Amazon, and emerging platforms. You’ll combine strategic leadership with hands-on involvement, using data and experimentation to identify opportunities and improve performance. Working closely with Creative, Analytics, Product, AI, Finance, and Brand teams, you’ll turn performance insights into commercial decisions. You’ll also build scalable systems, frameworks, and processes that allow multiple brands and teams to grow efficiently. Success will be measured by profitable scaling, speed of learning, strong team performance, and measurable business impact. Own the overall paid media strategy across a portfolio of ecommerce brands, ensuring acquisition activity supports profitable and sustainable growth. Manage and optimize significant media budgets across Meta, Google, TikTok, Amazon, and emerging acquisition channels. Lead the performance marketing team, setting priorities, establishing accountability, coaching media buyers, and building a culture of continuous improvement. Develop and execute growth strategies across paid search, shopping, social, video, marketplace advertising, and other relevant acquisition channels. Remain hands-on with advertising accounts when required, reviewing campaign performance and making high-impact optimization decisions. Monitor key ecommerce performance metrics including ROAS, CAC, MER, LTV, contribution margin, and overall profitability. Establish and improve experimentation frameworks covering creative, landing pages, audiences, bidding strategies, channel allocation, and other growth levers. Use attribution, analytics, and measurement frameworks to evaluate performance, identify trends, and improve investment decisions. Partner with Creative teams to develop and optimize performance-driven advertising concepts and creative strategies. Collaborate with Analytics, Product, AI, Finance, and Brand teams to connect media performance with broader business objectives. Proactively identify performance risks, growth opportunities, and operational blockers, taking action before issues materially affect results. Build scalable playbooks, systems, processes, reporting frameworks, and operating models that improve performance across multiple brands. Communicate complex performance insights and recommendations clearly to founders, leadership, and cross-functional stakeholders. Continuously evaluate emerging acquisition channels, technologies, automation opportunities, and AI-enabled optimization approaches. Ensure paid media strategies balance short-term performance with long-term brand health and sustainable customer growth. Requirements: 8+ years of experience in performance marketing, including at least 4 years leading or managing paid media teams. Extensive experience managing significant paid media budgets across Meta, Google, TikTok, Amazon, or comparable ecommerce acquisition channels. Deep expertise in Google Ads, including Search, Shopping, Performance Max, and YouTube. Strong hands-on experience with TikTok Ads and performance-focused creative strategies. Proven understanding of ecommerce and DTC growth metrics, including ROAS, CAC, MER, LTV, contribution margin, and profitability. Experience with attribution and measurement technologies such as GA4, Google Tag Manager, Conversion API, server-side tracking, and related measurement frameworks.
