This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Dashboard Developer (Medicare/Medicaid) based in the United States. This remote role offers the opportunity to turn complex healthcare data into clear, actionable insights supporting Medicare and Medicaid programs. You will design and maintain interactive dashboards that help identify and communicate patterns related to fraud, waste, and abuse. Working with large datasets and modern analytics platforms, you will transform raw information into compelling visualizations that support informed decision-making. You will collaborate closely with data analysts, data scientists, managers, and other stakeholders to translate business needs into effective dashboard solutions. The role combines data visualization, SQL, data modeling, and healthcare-program knowledge in a mission-driven environment. It is well suited to a curious, self-directed professional who enjoys simplifying complex information and making data accessible to diverse audiences. Develop interactive dashboards: Design, build, and maintain engaging dashboards using Tableau, Databricks, Snowflake, or comparable visualization and data platforms. Translate requirements into visual solutions: Partner with data analysts, data scientists, managers, and stakeholders to understand their needs and turn analytical requirements into intuitive visualizations. Transform complex data into insights: Convert large and often complex datasets into clear dashboards that highlight trends, patterns, and meaningful findings related to Medicare and Medicaid programs. Support fraud, waste, and abuse analysis: Create visualizations that help stakeholders identify and communicate potential fraud, waste, and abuse within healthcare programs. Maintain dashboard quality: Update existing dashboards as requirements evolve and conduct quality checks to ensure visualizations are accurate, reliable, accessible, and usable. Enable end-user adoption: Train users on effective dashboard interaction and help stakeholders understand and leverage available data insights. Communicate findings: Prepare and present monthly visualizations and insights to large stakeholder groups, adapting complex analyses for both technical and non-technical audiences. Requirements Education and experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related discipline, along with at least 2 years of relevant professional experience. Healthcare-program expertise: Demonstrated experience working with Medicare and/or Medicaid programs . Dashboard development: Hands-on experience with Tableau, Databricks, Snowflake, or similar dashboard and data-visualization platforms. Data and SQL skills: Working knowledge of SQL, data modeling, and large datasets, with the ability to extract and organize information for meaningful analysis. Data visualization: Ability to create compelling visualizations that communicate complex analyses, trends, and insights effectively. Dashboard design: Understanding of dashboard-design best practices, including accessibility, usability, clarity, and intuitive user experiences. Programming and web technologies: Familiarity with Python or R, as well as HTML and JavaScript. Communication and collaboration: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Problem-solving mindset: Self-starter with natural curiosity and an ability to understand, simplify, and clearly explain complex data. Security and eligibility: Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance and must have lived in the United States for at least 3 of the past 5 years. Preferred: Stronger proficiency in Python or SQL, Databricks and Snowflake, HTML and JavaScript, along with advanced knowledge of dashboard accessibility and usability practices.
