This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Engineering Manager - Wealth Management App based in United States. This is a senior technical leadership opportunity focused on building and scaling financial products used by millions of customers. You will lead a high-performing engineering team spanning frontend, backend, and full-stack development. The role combines hands-on technical leadership with people management, product partnership, and delivery ownership. You will shape architecture, engineering standards, reliability practices, and the technical direction of major product areas. Working closely with product, design, mobile, backend, and AI teams, you will turn ambiguous customer problems into scalable technology solutions. You will also develop engineers, raise the team's performance bar, and create a culture centered on ownership, speed, and technical excellence. This remote role is ideal for an engineering leader who enjoys staying close to technology while building teams and products that create meaningful customer and business impact. Lead and manage a high-performing engineering team across frontend, backend, and full-stack development. Own engineering delivery for major product areas, ensuring teams deliver quickly while maintaining reliability, scalability, and technical quality. Partner with Product, Design, Mobile, Backend, and AI teams to translate ambiguous product challenges into clear technical strategies and execution plans. Drive architecture and engineering decisions across APIs, databases, integrations, infrastructure, distributed systems, and customer-facing applications. Establish and maintain engineering standards covering code quality, system design, testing, observability, security, and production reliability. Stay technically engaged through architecture reviews, code reviews, debugging sessions, and critical engineering decisions. Coach, mentor, and develop engineers through regular feedback, performance management, clear expectations, and career development. Identify performance and capability gaps early and take ownership of raising the team's engineering and execution standards. Improve development processes, tooling, automation, and engineering practices to help the team move faster and operate effectively at scale. Own production outcomes beyond release by monitoring systems, responding to incidents, identifying root causes, and implementing preventative improvements. Build a strong engineering culture focused on ownership, technical excellence, continuous improvement, and consistently shipped outcomes. Requirements Strong software engineering background with a proven history of building and shipping production-grade systems. Demonstrated experience leading or managing software engineers and owning engineering delivery. Strong technical depth across areas such as backend and frontend development, APIs, databases, distributed systems, and cloud infrastructure. Ability to make sound architectural and technical trade-offs while balancing delivery speed, scalability, reliability, and maintainability. Proven experience taking products or systems from initial concept through development, launch, and production operations. Comfortable reviewing technical designs, challenging engineering decisions, and debugging complex production problems. Strong people leadership skills, including coaching engineers, managing performance, setting expectations, and developing high-performing teams. Strong product sense and the ability to connect technical decisions with customer needs and measurable business outcomes. Comfortable working through ambiguity, establishing priorities, and creating clarity for teams in fast-moving environments.
