This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Digital Advocacy Contractor based in United States. This is a fully remote, project-based contracting opportunity supporting digital public affairs and advocacy initiatives across the U.S. You’ll help advance utility-scale wind, solar, and battery storage projects in communities where public support is critical to successful development. The role combines social listening, opposition monitoring, paid media, organic content, community management, and advocacy campaign support. Assignments are varied, cyclical, and deadline-driven, with deliverables tailored to specific clients, projects, and messaging requirements. You’ll work across multiple projects and states, often picking up defined assignments and delivering polished work with minimal supervision. The ideal contractor is highly organized, digitally fluent, and comfortable operating independently in a fast-paced multi-client environment. This engagement is structured for an experienced professional who can contribute immediately and reliably during high-volume periods. Produce recurring multi-state social listening and opposition monitoring deliverables, as well as weekly project reports, while adhering precisely to project templates, formatting, citation, and sourcing requirements. Monitor relevant conversations and activity across assigned markets, providing clear, structured reporting and permalinked sources where required. Manage Facebook comment moderation and response for assigned project pages, including drafting approved responses and filtering or managing comments through appropriate moderation platforms. Build, launch, monitor, and optimize paid campaigns across Meta, Google, YouTube, StackAdapt, and streaming platforms for awareness, lead generation, geofencing, and search initiatives. Develop and refine ad copy, verify disclaimers and compliance requirements, and analyze cost-per-lead and broader campaign performance using transparent methodologies. Create monthly organic social content calendars tailored to individual projects, incorporating client-specific SEO, tone, messaging, and approval requirements. Analyze performance dashboards and translate campaign data into useful insights and recommendations. Support advocacy and letter-of-support campaigns, including landing pages, RSVP initiatives, event promotion, and tracking of letters and other engagement outcomes. Manage multiple concurrent assignments independently, maintaining clear communication, deadlines, documentation, and project-management discipline. Adapt quickly to changing priorities and step into defined deliverables during high-volume periods while maintaining a consistently high standard of quality. Requirements: 3+ years of experience in digital advocacy, social media management, public affairs, digital communications, or a related field, preferably within a fast-paced multi-client environment. Hands-on experience building, managing, and reporting on paid Meta and Google campaigns, including targeting, disclaimers, compliance, and cost-per-lead analysis. Proven experience conducting social listening and opposition monitoring and producing clear, structured reports under recurring deadlines. Exceptional writing and editing skills, with meticulous attention to client-specific formatting, messaging, sourcing, and documentation requirements. Strong organizational and project-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines independently in a remote environment. Demonstrated ability to work with limited supervision while proactively communicating progress, risks, questions, and deliverables. Experience in energy, infrastructure, or politically sensitive and regulated public affairs environments is preferred. Familiarity with community engagement and organized opposition dynamics, particularly in rural communities, is a plus. Experience wi
