Payroll Processor

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Payroll Processor based in the United States. This is a fully remote opportunity for an early-career payroll professional looking to build expertise in a fast-paced, client-focused environment. You will provide payroll settlement services through Workday, helping clients process payroll accurately and efficiently. The role combines payroll operations, customer support, financial controls, and day-to-day problem solving. You will manage multiple client needs while maintaining high standards of accuracy, confidentiality, and service. Process payroll settlements within clients’ Workday applications accurately and according to established procedures. Process on-demand payments as requested and ensure transactions are handled promptly. Maintain accurate, client-specific payroll support documentation. Manage daily control reports and identify issues requiring follow-up or resolution. Process and resolve Treasury exceptions while maintaining attention to financial accuracy. Provide responsive, professional support to multiple clients and maintain effective working relationships. Protect confidential customer and payroll information by exercising appropriate tact and discretion. Meet tight deadlines and competing priorities while maintaining consistent quality and service levels. Collaborate with team members to support shared objectives and contribute to an effective working environment. Apply strong problem-solving and mathematical skills to resolve payroll-related questions and issues. Take initiative in a changing, fast-paced environment and continuously develop payroll knowledge and expertise. Requirements High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required; an associate degree or higher is preferred. 1–2 years of payroll customer service experience. Previous knowledge or experience with payroll processing is preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a clear commitment to outstanding customer service. Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple customers and priorities effectively. Detail-oriented approach and ability to maintain accuracy while working under deadlines. Strong mathematical and analytical problem-solving skills. Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and business requirements. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while independently managing assigned responsibilities. Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain positive professional relationships. Ability to handle sensitive customer information with discretion and confidentiality.
