This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Product Manager, Subscriptions based in the United States. This is a high-impact product role focused on launching and scaling a new subscription experience within a fast-growing consumer fintech platform. You’ll take ownership of the core customer journey, from signup and account setup through ongoing engagement and retention. The role offers a true zero-to-one opportunity, with responsibility spanning initial product development, launch readiness, and post-launch growth. You’ll work closely with Engineering to make thoughtful product decisions and ensure strong execution against ambitious milestones. After launch, you’ll optimize conversion, retention, customer segmentation, and acquisition strategies to build sustained traction. The position requires close collaboration across Marketing, Legal, Compliance, Risk, and Customer Operations to create scalable and trusted financial experiences. Own the subscription experience: Lead the development of the customer-facing journey, including signup, account setup, subscription management, and ongoing account interactions. Build engagement and retention mechanics: Design, launch, test, and continuously improve features and experiences that drive customer engagement, retention, and long-term subscription value. Drive zero-to-one product development: Take the subscription initiative from initial build through external launch and into sustained growth and market adoption. Partner closely with Engineering: Work collaboratively with engineering teams to make informed product decisions, define priorities, resolve trade-offs, and ensure high-quality execution. Lead launch readiness: Establish and manage key development, testing, operational-readiness, and launch milestones to ensure a successful external rollout. Optimize post-launch performance: Use product insights and customer behavior to improve conversion, retention, segmentation, and overall subscription performance. Support growth and go-to-market strategy: Partner with relevant teams on acquisition channels, conversion strategies, retention initiatives, and opportunities to expand the subscription offering. Collaborate cross-functionally: Work with Legal, Compliance, Risk, Customer Operations, Marketing, and other stakeholders to ensure new experiences are clear, compliant, customer-friendly, and operationally scalable. Balance competing priorities: Make pragmatic product decisions that account for customer experience, business impact, regulatory considerations, and technical complexity. Operate with ownership: Identify opportunities, proactively solve problems, and drive initiatives from concept through execution without requiring extensive oversight. Requirements Product management experience: 3–7 years of product management experience, ideally with a strong focus on consumer-facing products. Subscription expertise: Direct experience building or managing subscription products, including acquisition, engagement, retention, and lifecycle mechanics. Fintech background: Experience working with financial or fintech products at meaningful scale and an understanding of the considerations involved in consumer financial services. Startup experience: Demonstrated ability to independently ship products and make decisions in a startup or smaller-scale, high-growth environment. Strong product judgment: Ability to balance customer needs, commercial objectives, regulatory requirements, operational considerations, and technical constraints.
