Our partner is looking for a Strategic Planning, Senior Manager - CAI Inventory Solutions (Inside Operations) based in United States. This senior-level individual contributor role will shape strategic initiatives that modernize complex operational processes and improve the client experience at scale. You will serve as a subject matter expert across commercial, dealer, front-office, and client support operations. The role combines strategic planning, business analysis, process transformation, automation, and digital self-service initiatives. You will translate long-term strategy into practical, measurable roadmaps spanning people, processes, and technology. Working across operations, product, technology, shared services, and change management teams, you will influence outcomes without direct authority. The position offers an opportunity to drive efficiency, throughput, revenue protection, and sustainable operational improvements across a multi-site environment. This is a highly collaborative role suited to a strategic thinker who can pair consulting-style problem solving with hands-on operational expertise. Lead strategic planning and analysis for inside operations, shaping cohesive client experiences and developing scenarios that inform investment decisions and long-range plans. Translate strategic priorities into actionable processes, policies, and initiatives in partnership with operational teams. Develop sequenced, time-bound roadmaps covering people, process, and technology improvements, and own key workstreams through execution. Partner with Product and Technology teams to design scalable capabilities, automation, and digital self-service solutions that improve operational efficiency and client outcomes. Build business cases and conduct operational analyses focused on labor efficiency, throughput, revenue protection, and broader business impact. Define success metrics for modernization initiatives, monitor performance, and conduct post-implementation reviews to identify further opportunities for improvement. Build strong relationships with business leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to understand strategic objectives, challenges, and opportunities. Serve as a bridge between operational excellence, shared services, and field operations, influencing diverse stakeholders without direct authority. Support change adoption by translating strategy into clear, practical messaging and helping operational teams implement new ways of working. Manage multiple strategic workstreams with competing priorities and deadlines while maintaining high-quality deliverables and strong executive communication. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience; alternative combinations may include a master's degree with 6+ years of experience, a Ph.D. with 3+ years, or 12+ years of relevant experience. 8+ years of experience in management consulting, business process design, operations leadership, strategic planning, operational transformation, or related disciplines. Strong understanding of auction execution, including sale-day, post-sale, and client support operations. Proven experience in client experience or front-office operations, ideally within shared-services or outsourced operating models. Demonstrated ability to translate strategy into execution across multi-site operations and deliver measurable business outcomes. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and business-case development skills, with a practical bias toward execution. Experience developing operational metrics, performance insights, and structured improvement roadmaps. Ability to influence and collaborate effectively across diverse stakeholder groups without direct reporting authority.
