This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Front-End Developer based in Canada. As a Front-End Developer, you will help build large-scale, user-focused web applications in a collaborative, fast-moving environment. You’ll work closely with Product, Design, QA, DevOps, Customer Support, and backend teams to turn ideas into polished digital experiences. The role combines hands-on development with opportunities to influence architecture, usability, performance, and technical solutions. You’ll build reusable components and front-end libraries designed to support multi-tenant applications at scale. You’ll work with modern open-source technologies including TypeScript and Vue.js while continuously exploring emerging tools and practices. Quality, speed, accessibility, and reliability will be central to your work, with strong emphasis on testing, code reviews, and continuous improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Design, QA, DevOps, and Customer Support to define technical solutions and create intuitive, accessible, and engaging user experiences. Work closely with backend developers to design, integrate, and consume APIs using technologies such as Axios and Fetch. Build scalable, reusable front-end components and libraries for multi-tenant applications. Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality, maintainable, responsive code. Optimize front-end applications and components for performance across a broad range of browsers and web-enabled devices. Participate actively in Scrum ceremonies and contribute to an effective Agile development process. Write unit tests, conduct code reviews, and follow established code management and revision-control practices. Respond quickly to production issues, troubleshoot bugs, and implement reliable fixes. Contribute to technical discussions and help translate business requirements into practical front-end solutions. Demonstrate completed work and achievements through sprint demos and team-wide showcases. Stay current with emerging front-end technologies and open-source tools, bringing relevant ideas and improvements to the development environment. Contribute to front-end migrations and modernization initiatives where required. Requirements: Post-secondary degree or diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 1–4 years of professional software development experience, with a strong focus on front-end development. Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript. Hands-on experience with Vue.js, including familiarity with either the Composition API or Options API. Ability to collaborate effectively with designers to create applications that are usable, accessible, responsive, and visually consistent. Strong understanding of business requirements and the ability to translate them into clear technical requirements and solutions. Working knowledge of Tailwind CSS. Understanding of SQL-based databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL. Familiarity with Git and GitHub for source control and collaborative development. Experience with collaboration and project-management tools such as Confluence, JIRA, and Slack. Practical understanding of HTTP requests and API integration using tools such as Axios or Fetch API. Experience with Docker and containerization. Familiarity with both Vue.js Composition API and Options API is an asset. Experience with server-side rendering frameworks such as Nuxt or Next, as well as exposure to client-side frameworks such as Vue, React, Angular, or Svelte, is a plus.
