This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Regional Account Manager based in United States. This role offers the opportunity to lead sales growth and customer development across a defined U.S. territory within the capital equipment industry. You will build trusted relationships with customers at multiple organizational levels, from plant and maintenance leaders to managers and engineers. The position combines new equipment sales, account development, aftermarket opportunities, and strategic territory management. You will become deeply knowledgeable about customer operations, equipment usage, production environments, and maintenance needs to identify valuable growth opportunities. Working closely with sales leadership and cross-functional teams, you will manage a healthy pipeline and ensure successful execution from opportunity through delivery. The role is highly customer-facing, with significant travel required to maximize in-person engagement, demonstrations, and business development. Develop and strengthen relationships with customers, prospects, and active accounts across multiple levels, including complex managers, plant management, maintenance managers, and engineering teams. Build deep knowledge of the active customer base, including existing equipment, production processes, maintenance practices, and evolving business needs. Promote and sell the full range of equipment solutions within the assigned territory, including complete new equipment lines, replacement equipment, spare parts, and services associated with equipment sales. Develop and execute a structured customer communication and territory travel plan designed to maximize face-to-face engagement and identify new opportunities. Partner with sales leadership to develop corporate-level plans, territory growth strategies, and account development initiatives. Maintain accurate customer and opportunity information in the CRM, ensuring a healthy and actionable sales pipeline. Identify and coordinate opportunities for customer demonstrations, both at customer facilities and designated demonstration locations. Identify opportunities to expand existing equipment portfolios and introduce new products and solutions to customers. Promote aftermarket programs, consumable parts, equipment services, and other value-added offerings across the existing customer base. Collaborate with research and development and service teams to support customer demonstrations and address customer requirements. Work closely with production, engineering, and logistics teams throughout sold projects to ensure smooth execution and strong customer satisfaction. Partner with service teams to coordinate sold items and identify additional service and aftermarket opportunities. Support additional commercial and customer initiatives as required by leadership. Requirements 5–10 years of relevant experience in capital equipment sales or a closely related B2B sales environment. Demonstrated ability to develop long-term customer relationships and manage complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders. Experience managing and growing a defined sales territory, including prospecting, account development, pipeline management, and opportunity conversion. Experience using CRM platforms to maintain customer information, track opportunities, and manage sales pipelines. Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint or comparable Google Workspace applications. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers, technical teams, and senior stakeholders. Strong customer relationship management and consultative selling capabilities. Ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams
