This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Network Administrator based in the United States. This role supports customer network environments as part of a 24x7x365 managed services operations team. You will troubleshoot, maintain, and enhance critical network infrastructure across a diverse customer base. The position combines hands-on network support with incident, problem, and change management in an ITIL-driven environment. You will work with technologies including Cisco and Fortinet networking, VPNs, circuits, firewalls, and wireless infrastructure. The role also involves direct collaboration with major technology and telecommunications vendors to resolve complex hardware and connectivity issues. Success requires strong technical judgment, urgency, organization, and a customer-first approach while meeting demanding SLAs. Provide network support within a 24x7x365 managed services environment, responding to customer incidents, service requests, and network outages. Perform break/fix troubleshooting, software updates, configuration changes, and feature enhancements across network devices and infrastructure. Troubleshoot Cisco and Fortinet firewalls, switches, routers, access points, VPN technologies, and related networking components. Work directly with external vendors and telecommunications providers to diagnose and resolve hardware, circuit, connectivity, and service issues. Apply established ITIL-based incident, problem, and change management processes when addressing customer requests and outages. Monitor network environments and use available technology tools to identify, investigate, and resolve performance or availability issues. Manage customer issues in accordance with defined service offerings, procedures, and Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Create and maintain accurate technical and process documentation to support troubleshooting, knowledge sharing, and operational consistency. Coordinate multiple customer requests and priorities while maintaining responsiveness and meeting critical deadlines. Collaborate with account teams and other internal stakeholders to understand customer needs and identify opportunities to enhance service delivery. Maintain awareness of applicable policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements while handling customer environments and information. Provide professional, technically accurate, and customer-focused communication throughout the incident resolution process. Requirements: Associate's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience. At least 4 years of experience in a Network Operations Center (NOC), network support team, or equivalent environment. Hands-on experience with Cisco and Fortinet firewalls, switches, routers, and access points. Experience with VPN technologies, data and voice circuits, and network monitoring tools. Familiarity with load balancers and IP telephony technologies, including Cisco CCM, Unity, UCCX, Webex, or Microsoft Teams. Experience working with an ITIL-based incident tracking and service management system , such as ServiceNow or CA Service Desk. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. CCNA and/or Fortinet NSE4 certification preferred or equivalent demonstrated expertise. CompTIA Security+ and/or CompTIA Network+ certification preferred. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to work independently and respond with a sense of urgency. Excellent organization and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize work against demanding SLA deadlines.
