This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Google Cloud Delivery Architect based in Netherlands. This is a senior, hands-on cloud architecture role focused on delivering complex Google Cloud engagements from design through implementation and handover. You will take ownership of scoped, fixed-budget projects and translate customer requirements into reliable production environments. The role combines cloud architecture, infrastructure as code, Kubernetes, networking, security, and DevOps expertise. You will work directly with customers, lead technical discussions, and manage several engagements in parallel. You’ll also drive cloud migrations, establish secure landing zones, and modernize infrastructure through automation and GitOps. This is an opportunity to make a direct impact on enterprise cloud transformation while operating with significant technical and delivery ownership. Own the end-to-end delivery of Google Cloud engagements, from low-level design and implementation through validation, documentation, knowledge transfer, and final handover. Design and execute cloud migrations from AWS or Azure to Google Cloud, including production workloads such as EKS to GKE, RDS to Cloud SQL, and S3 to Cloud Storage. Design and implement secure Google Cloud foundations and landing zones covering resource hierarchies, IAM, organization policies, networking, and security controls, with infrastructure codified in Terraform. Architect and deploy production-grade GKE environments, including private clusters, node pools, Workload Identity, Helm-based add-ons, ingress, autoscaling, and Cloud Armor. Enable DevOps and infrastructure automation by importing existing environments into Terraform, developing reusable modules, and implementing CI/CD and GitOps workflows using tools such as GitHub Actions and Argo CD. Manage multiple customer engagements simultaneously, maintaining delivery plans, project hours, scope, budgets, and timelines while identifying risks and budget deviations early. Lead customer-facing workshops, weekly meetings, technical discussions, and handover sessions with engineering teams, technical leaders, and CTO-level stakeholders. Protect project scope through effective change management and ensure that all delivered environments are supported by clear documentation, runbooks, and knowledge transfer. Apply AI-assisted development tools thoughtfully in architecture, implementation, troubleshooting, and delivery workflows while maintaining strong technical judgment and quality standards. Requirements 5+ years of hands-on cloud infrastructure and architecture experience, with deep production experience specifically in Google Cloud. Strong expertise in Terraform, including reusable and modular infrastructure code, remote state management, and importing manually provisioned environments. Proven production experience with Kubernetes and GKE, including private clusters, node pools, autoscaling, RBAC, Workload Identity, Helm, and ingress. Strong knowledge of Google Cloud networking and security, including VPC architecture, Cloud NAT, DNS, VPN, Private Service Connect, firewall policies, IAM, Organization Policies, and Secret Manager. Practical experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices, including GitHub Actions or equivalent, keyless authentication to Google Cloud, container workflows, and GitOps with Argo CD or similar tools. Working knowledge of AWS or Azure, with the ability to understand and assess source-cloud environments as part of migration projects. Strong customer-facing English communication skills, with confidence leading technical workshops, weekly meetings, presentations, and handovers. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple technical engagements, work within defined budgets and scopes, and take ownership of delivery outcomes. Strong architectural thinking, problem-solving ability, documentation skills, and attention to implementatio
