This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a DevOps Director based in United States. This is a senior leadership role responsible for the engineering platform that supports complex identity and access management engagements. You will own environments, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, cloud platforms, and the secure operation of identity workloads. The role combines strategic leadership with deep technical ownership across DevOps, SRE, cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, and security. You will establish scalable engineering standards while ensuring reliability, observability, compliance, and operational readiness across client environments. A major focus will be securing the delivery chain, including secrets, workload identities, certificates, artifacts, and privileged access. You will lead a distributed platform engineering organization while partnering with architecture, delivery, and presales stakeholders. This opportunity is ideal for a seasoned technology leader who can build high-performing teams while remaining technically credible in enterprise identity platforms. Own the platform and environment strategy across development, test, UAT, and production estates supporting identity and access management platforms, including refresh schedules and secure data masking or anonymization. Design, implement, and govern CI/CD pipelines for identity-platform artifacts, including configuration-as-code promotion, versioning, packaging, automated deployment, drift detection, and rollback. Lead infrastructure-as-code practices using Terraform and Ansible, as well as containerized deployments across Kubernetes environments such as EKS, AKS, and GKE. Own secrets and non-human identity management, including vaulting, workload identity federation, service-account and API-key lifecycle management, and PKI and certificate lifecycle processes. Establish and validate highly available and resilient identity platforms through disaster recovery architecture, RPO/RTO validation, capacity planning, and performance optimization. Secure the software delivery lifecycle through SAST/DAST, dependency scanning, SBOM generation, artifact signing, and least-privilege access controls for repositories and pipelines. Build comprehensive observability for identity platforms, monitoring provisioning failures, aggregation SLAs, connector health, workflow queues, and other critical operational indicators. Integrate identity audit logs with client SIEM platforms and establish monitoring practices that support operational visibility and compliance. Lead and develop a distributed DevOps and platform engineering team across the United States and India, setting engineering standards and overseeing platform change governance. Own audit evidence and platform controls for client and internal audits while ensuring infrastructure aligns with applicable security and compliance frameworks. Partner with senior engineering leadership on architecture decisions that have platform-wide implications and contribute technical expertise to presales activities involving hosting, managed services, and platform modernization. Define platform upgrade, patching, and lifecycle strategies across client environments, including vendor release tracking, regression-risk assessment, and coordinated upgrade windows. Promote SRE practices, including SLI/SLO definition, error budgets, reliability testing, chaos engineering, and disaster recovery exercises. Requirements: 10–15+ years of experience in infrastructure, platform engineering, DevOps, or related technical disciplines, including at least 5 years leading engineering teams and 4+ years supporting IAM, IGA, or comparable security platforms. Strong experience owning enterprise-scale CI/CD environments using tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins. Advanced Infrastructure-as-Code experience with Terraform and Ansible, preferably within large
