This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Marketing Specialist, Social Media based in Canada. This role offers the opportunity to shape the social voice and presence of well-known consumer brands in a fast-moving, highly visible environment. You will help turn marketing campaigns, cultural moments, and emerging trends into engaging social-first content. Working across organic and paid social, creator partnerships, and community management, you will play a hands-on role in growing reach and engagement. You will collaborate closely with internal marketing teams, creative partners, agencies, and influencers to bring ideas to life. The role combines creativity with performance analysis, using data and experimentation to continuously improve social campaigns. You will also help identify new platform trends and content opportunities that can strengthen brand relevance. This is an ideal opportunity for a social media professional who enjoys balancing creative execution, collaboration, and measurable business impact. Support the development and execution of social media strategies aligned with broader marketing objectives, helping increase traffic, engagement, reach, and conversions across digital and in-store channels. Manage the day-to-day execution of social media campaigns, coordinating with internal stakeholders and agency partners on content delivery, paid media, and scheduling. Develop and maintain monthly content calendars connected to marketing campaigns, promotions, cultural moments, and relevant social trends. Collaborate with creative teams and external partners to develop agile, low-fi, social-first content for platforms including Meta, TikTok, X, Snapchat, and LinkedIn. Capture and edit photo and video content when needed to support timely, platform-native social communication. Support creator and influencer campaigns, including briefing, coordination, content approvals, execution, and performance tracking. Monitor social media performance, analyze campaign metrics, prepare reports, and recommend optimization opportunities such as A/B testing and improvements to influencer strategies. Manage daily community interactions by responding to comments and direct messages, engaging with audiences, and monitoring brand sentiment. Track emerging platform features, creator trends, content formats, and cultural conversations to identify opportunities for timely and relevant brand participation. Contribute to a collaborative, creative, and continuously improving marketing environment while building strong relationships with internal and external partners. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field. At least 2 years of experience in social media marketing , ideally within retail, convenience, QSR, consumer, or another fast-paced customer-facing industry. Demonstrated experience developing and executing social media campaigns that generate measurable engagement and audience growth. Strong understanding of social media platforms, content formats, audience engagement, and current digital trends. Experience with influencer or creator marketing and community management is an advantage. Ability to monitor, interpret, and report on social media performance metrics, using insights to inform optimization decisions. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with creative teams, agencies, influencers, and internal stakeholders. Creative mindset with an eye for compelling, social-first photo and video content. Ability to work independently, solve problems proactively, and manage multiple priorities in a rapidly changing environment.
