Associate - Pricing & Actuarial Analyst

This fully remote role supports government acquisition and proposal evaluation through rigorous pricing, actuarial, financial, and healthcare analysis. You will assess complex proposals, validate analytical models, and identify inconsistencies, unsupported assumptions, and potential areas requiring further review. Your work will directly contribute to accurate, transparent, and well-supported government decision-making. The role combines quantitative analysis with careful documentation, quality control, and clear written communication. You will collaborate with pricing and actuarial professionals to reconcile data, assumptions, and analytical conclusions in a highly controlled environment. Review offeror proposals for completeness, internal consistency, mathematical accuracy, and compliance with applicable pricing and actuarial evaluation frameworks. Develop and maintain reproducible analytical models, comparison matrices, crosswalks, sensitivity analyses, and structured evaluation workpapers. Analyze pricing, financial, actuarial, healthcare, and cost-modeling information to support acquisition and proposal evaluations. Identify unsupported assumptions, anomalies, missing inputs, inconsistent rates, and other issues requiring clarification or additional analysis. Evaluate calculations and underlying assumptions, ensuring analytical conclusions are accurate, defensible, and traceable to source information. Draft concise clarification questions, evaluation observations, briefing materials, and negotiation-support inputs for government stakeholders. Collaborate with pricing and actuarial teams to reconcile differences in data, assumptions, methodologies, and analytical conclusions. Rapidly update models and analyses in response to clarifications, revised proposals, final proposal revisions, and contracting direction. Apply rigorous version control, calculation validation, source traceability, and peer-review practices across all deliverables. Use approved automation and analytical technologies to improve consistency, efficiency, and quality while preserving confidentiality and human oversight. Produce clear, organized, and audit-ready documentation that can support official acquisition or contract records. Manage multiple analytical priorities and deliver accurate work within compressed timelines and a highly controlled professional environment. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Business, Healthcare Analytics, or a related field. At least 2 years of experience in pricing, financial analysis, actuarial analysis, healthcare analytics, cost modeling, or a closely related discipline. At least 1 year of experience building or reviewing complex analytical models, evaluating assumptions and calculations, and communicating findings through clear written deliverables. At least 1 year of experience applying strong quality-control practices, reconciling complex data, and delivering accurate analytical work under tight deadlines. Advanced Excel and quantitative analysis capabilities, with strong attention to detail and analytical judgment. Ability to create structured, reproducible models and clearly document methodologies, assumptions, calculations, and conclusions.
