This is a high-ownership leadership role responsible for building and scaling a strategic partnerships function within a rapidly growing commerce technology business. You’ll take an established agency partner motion and turn it into a scalable, measurable revenue channel. Your work will directly influence pipeline generation, partner-sourced revenue, and the company’s broader growth trajectory. This is a build-and-run position offering substantial autonomy, clear performance targets, and close collaboration with the founding team. It’s an ideal opportunity for an experienced partnerships leader who thrives on ownership, commercial accountability, and fast-paced execution. Own and scale the agency partner program across retention/CRM, performance, CRO, creator, and related agency categories. Identify, prospect, recruit, and activate high-value agency partners using a structured target list and stage-gate partnership process. Build relationships from agency leadership through hands-on practitioners who influence technology recommendations and purchasing decisions. Generate a consistent flow of qualified partner introductions to the sales organization and maintain accountability for partner-sourced pipeline generation. Manage partner commercial operations, including revenue-share administration, partner tagging, attribution, and commission inputs in collaboration with RevOps. Develop the partner lifecycle beyond initial deals through lead-backs, incentive structures, tiering, and programs designed to increase partner productivity. Own and grow the customer referral program as a dedicated demand-generation channel, including program design, incentives, engagement, and performance. Establish efficient routing processes for partner- and referral-sourced leads to ensure rapid follow-up and accurate attribution. Serve as the primary point of contact for inbound technology and ecosystem partnership opportunities. Qualify potential technology partnerships and structure referral exchanges, marketplace integrations, install-button opportunities, and co-referral agreements. Develop strategic relationships within key commerce platforms and their surrounding ecosystems, including Shopify, Klaviyo, and relevant technology partners. Build connections with platform practitioners, partner managers, and ecosystem stakeholders who can influence adoption and recommendations. Lead the partnerships component of events, including co-hosted dinners, partner webinars, and agency participation at industry trade shows, in collaboration with Marketing. Track and improve the two core partnership outcomes: qualified introductions per month and partner-sourced closed-won revenue. Requirements: Proven experience leading agency partnership programs, ideally within commerce, marketing technology, SaaS, e-commerce, CRM, performance marketing, CRO, or a related environment. Demonstrated ability to sell agencies on becoming partners and subsequently manage and grow a portfolio of active agency relationships. Experience building, launching, or scaling a partner program with clear commercial goals and measurable outcomes.
