This is an opportunity to join a global life sciences environment supporting medical information services for pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and healthcare organizations. The role focuses on delivering accurate, timely, and compliant responses to medical and safety-related enquiries. You will interact with healthcare professionals, consumers, and other external stakeholders through multiple communication channels. The position combines scientific knowledge, customer service, documentation, and strict adherence to regulatory and quality requirements. You’ll help ensure medical information requests, adverse events, special situations, and product complaints are handled accurately and appropriately. The role is well suited to an early-career life sciences professional looking to develop expertise in medical information and pharmaceutical operations. You’ll work collaboratively within a structured, quality-focused environment where accuracy, confidentiality, and patient safety are essential. Support medical information service delivery by responding to unsolicited requests from consumers, healthcare professionals, and other external customers. Handle enquiries received through channels such as telephone, email, websites, letters, fax, and scientific meetings. Provide accurate medical and safety information using approved product labeling, standard responses, published literature, and other authorized scientific resources. Assist with preparing customized medical information responses while ensuring that content is accurate, clear, and compliant with applicable requirements. Accurately identify, document, and report adverse events, pregnancy reports, special situation events, and product complaints in accordance with applicable procedures. Record and maintain complete, accurate, and timely documentation of enquiries within designated inquiry-handling systems. Ensure all assigned activities are completed within established timelines, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and client-specific working practices. Maintain confidentiality and handle personal and client information in accordance with applicable data privacy requirements. Participate in rotational after-hours coverage when required by business needs. Maintain a consistently professional approach when communicating with customers, colleagues, clients, and management. Follow health, safety, quality, compliance, and privacy policies while supporting additional activities assigned by management. Requirements A degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Nursing, or a related healthcare discipline ; relevant pharmacy or nursing qualifications are particularly suitable for the role. Approximately 1–2 years of relevant professional experience , ideally gained within medical information, pharmacovigilance, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or another related life sciences environment. Working knowledge of medical terminology, pharmacology, pathophysiology, regulatory requirements, and relevant industry standards . Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with different audiences. Strong proofreading and written communication abilities, with excellent attention to accuracy and detail. Professional telephone etiquette and an empathetic, customer-focused approach when handling enquiries. Ability to interpret and communicate scientific information accurately while working within established procedures. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and consistently meet deadlines.
