This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Solutions Architect based in United States. This role offers the opportunity to shape technical solutions for some of the most complex and mission-critical challenges across defense, government, and critical infrastructure. You will serve as a trusted technical advisor, working directly with customers to understand their objectives and translate them into scalable, effective architectures. The position combines customer engagement, pre-sales strategy, architecture design, and technical risk management. You will collaborate with account executives, product teams, marketing, and technical stakeholders to develop compelling solutions and influence product direction. Your expertise across AI/ML, data, cloud, and systems integration will help customers turn complex operational challenges into actionable outcomes. This is a high-impact environment for an experienced technologist who thrives on solving difficult problems, communicating with senior stakeholders, and working with significant autonomy. Serve as a trusted technical advisor to customer Technical Points of Contact (TPOCs), building strong relationships and helping customers achieve mission-critical objectives. Partner with Account Executives on pre-sales activities, including product demonstrations, RFP responses, technical proposals, and responses to customer inquiries. Develop long-term technical strategies for customer engagements, ensuring proposed solutions are scalable, sustainable, and aligned with organizational objectives. Engage with technical and business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate business challenges into clear technical requirements. Design, develop, and review technical architectures that address customer requirements while following industry best practices and appropriate security considerations. Identify technical risks throughout customer engagements and develop practical mitigation strategies to support successful project delivery. Translate complex AI, data, cloud, and systems-integration concepts into clear recommendations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop technical collateral, communicate customer insights, and help align product roadmaps with market needs. Contribute technical thought leadership and strategic guidance across customer engagements and internal initiatives. Work effectively across organizational levels, maintaining strong communication, accountability, and execution in a fast-paced environment. Requirements Active DoD SECRET clearance is required. 10+ years of experience supporting the Department of Defense, with a strong understanding of defense-sector technology environments. Proven technical proficiency in data science, data engineering, AI/ML solutions, cloud platforms, and/or systems integration. Strong experience designing and communicating complex technical solutions to customers and stakeholders. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain sophisticated technical concepts clearly and persuasively. Demonstrated thought leadership, strategic thinking, and strong critical-thinking skills. Ability to operate independently, take ownership of complex customer challenges, and make sound technical decisions. Prior experience in Land, Sea, or Air maintenance environments is preferred. Hands-on experience in readiness domains such as predictive maintenance, munitions storage planning, and/or supply chain management is a plus. Familiarity with risk management frameworks, cloud service providers, and large-scale AI architectures is preferred. Knowledge of the unique technical, operational, security, and procurement requirements of DoD and Intelligence Community environments is valuable. An active DoD TOP SECRET clearance is preferred.
