Our partner is looking for a Digital Commerce Operations and Insights Analyst based in United States. This role offers an opportunity to shape e-commerce performance through data-driven insights and operational excellence. You will focus on major digital commerce channels, including Amazon and other pure-play retailers, helping translate complex data into actionable business recommendations. The position combines performance analytics, forecasting, competitive intelligence, and strategic planning across short- and long-term horizons. You will partner closely with sales, marketing, and other cross-functional leaders to identify growth opportunities and improve commercial outcomes. Your analysis will directly support decisions around investment, promotions, product launches, inventory, and customer performance. The ideal candidate is commercially minded, highly analytical, and comfortable turning data into clear recommendations for senior stakeholders. You will work in a collaborative, innovation-focused environment where your insights can have a meaningful impact on digital commerce growth. Analyze e-commerce account performance and develop monthly reporting on key KPIs, including sell-through, forecasting, financial impact, competitive activity, promotional performance, and emerging trends. Provide actionable recommendations that support strategic sales, profitability, and e-commerce objectives. Collaborate with business leaders to develop, communicate, and execute strategic goals and plans for the U.S. digital commerce business. Deliver strategic and analytical insights across multiple data sources to identify opportunities and support 18-month as well as 3- to 5-year e-commerce plans. Lead the development of e-commerce performance scorecards, combining KPI tracking, ad hoc analysis, and actionable insights to influence business stakeholders and optimize investment decisions. Establish and maintain e-commerce KPIs for recurring reporting, performance analysis, and competitive monitoring. Analyze vendor portal information and third-party technology data to support planning, forecasting, budgeting, financial analysis, and trend identification. Serve as a subject matter expert on product and item configurations, including item changes, UPC revisions, and product dimensions, while collaborating with relevant cross-functional teams. Apply rigorous analytical methods to provide fact-based recommendations to Amazon and pure-play sales teams. Monitor customer and internal forecast accuracy, identify in-stock challenges, ordering issues, and chargeback violations, and recommend corrective actions. Partner with marketing and sales teams to estimate projected volumes for new products and establish launch priorities. Track new product launches from inbound purchase orders through site enablement, monitor performance, and recommend forecast adjustments when needed. Communicate findings and recommendations to internal stakeholders and customers according to established reporting cadences. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in business, data analytics, marketing, computer science, or a related field. 5–7 years of successful experience in sales and marketing analytics, preferably within the consumer packaged goods industry or an agency environment supporting e-commerce and CPG clients. Previous experience working with Amazon is highly preferred. At least 3 years of experience providing strategic thought leadership in e-commerce and translating complex data concepts into actionable business recommendations. Demonstrated experience collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams, particularly sales and marketing. Strong analytical, quantitative, and data interpretation capabilities, with experience working with syndicated point-of-sale and internal account-specific consumption data.
