This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an IT Support Engineer based in United States. This is a remote, full-time opportunity for an IT professional who enjoys solving technical challenges and keeping critical systems running smoothly. You will serve as a key point of contact for users across corporate and data center environments. The role combines hands-on technical support with systems administration, infrastructure maintenance, and security responsibilities. You will collaborate closely with engineering, operations, product, and service teams in a fast-moving environment. Your work will support IT initiatives ranging from system upgrades and cloud migrations to infrastructure improvements. You will also help strengthen internal documentation, knowledge sharing, and end-user training. Serve as the first point of contact for technical support requests across corporate and data center environments, diagnosing issues remotely and providing effective resolutions. Troubleshoot hardware, software, connectivity, access, and other IT-related issues using structured diagnostic techniques. Install, configure, maintain, and support operating systems, applications, workstations, servers, network equipment, and other IT assets. Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure to support reliable and uninterrupted business operations. Manage user accounts, access permissions, authentication, and security settings while enforcing IT policies and best practices. Support security measures including multi-factor authentication, password management, and appropriate access controls. Procure requested hardware and maintain accurate IT asset and inventory records. Provide training and guidance to end users on software, security practices, IT policies, and effective use of technology. Create, maintain, and improve internal IT knowledgebase articles, documentation, workflows, and troubleshooting resources. Assist with IT projects including system upgrades, cloud migrations, infrastructure improvements, and business application initiatives. Partner with technical and non-technical stakeholders to identify requirements, resolve issues, manage dependencies, and support cross-functional initiatives. Contribute to an agile, high-accountability environment by identifying opportunities to improve IT processes, scalability, and operational efficiency. Requirements 3+ years of professional experience in IT support, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and IT operations. Associate degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience. Previous IT support experience within innovative technology environments, data centers, microgrids, or other mission-critical facilities is preferred. Professional certifications such as CompTIA A+, Security+, Microsoft Azure, or AWS certifications are preferred. Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues. Working knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, user administration, security practices, hardware, software, and networking concepts. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and continuously changing environment while managing competing priorities. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with limited supervision. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. A proactive, trustworthy, reliable, and self-motivated approach to work, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
