This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Compliance Professional based in the United States. This is a remote opportunity for an experienced compliance professional to help ensure that business practices remain aligned with governmental requirements and contractual obligations. You will research regulatory matters, evaluate complex situations, and help strengthen compliance policies and procedures. The role combines independent analysis with meaningful interaction across teams and with senior leadership. You will contribute to reporting, metrics, relationship management, and compliance initiatives that support sound business decisions. The position offers the opportunity to influence departmental strategy while managing multiple high-priority projects. Success requires strong judgment, organization, communication, and a solid understanding of CMS and Department of Insurance requirements. You will join a professional environment where your expertise can directly support regulatory integrity and operational effectiveness. Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures that support governmental requirements and contractual obligations. Research compliance questions and regulatory issues, assess potential impacts, and recommend appropriate changes or corrective actions. Analyze moderately complex to complex compliance situations and data, evaluating multiple factors to determine appropriate approaches. Monitor and interpret applicable laws, regulations, and requirements, particularly those governed by CMS and Departments of Insurance. Prepare metrics, reports, analyses, and insights that support compliance monitoring and business decision-making. Present findings, recommendations, and compliance-related information to leadership and other stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner. Build and maintain effective relationships with internal partners while supporting compliance objectives across multiple areas. Manage multiple demanding projects simultaneously, prioritizing work effectively and exercising independent judgment in determining objectives and approaches. Contribute to departmental strategy and continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to strengthen compliance practices and processes. Apply sound judgment and technical expertise when addressing complex issues, escalating matters appropriately when additional guidance is required. Requirements Bachelor's degree required, with a graduate or advanced degree considered a plus. At least 2 years of professional experience in compliance, with the ability to apply regulatory requirements to business situations. At least 1 year of experience presenting information, analysis, or recommendations to leadership. At least 1 year of experience working with metrics, reporting, and data analysis to support compliance or business decisions. At least 2 years of relationship management experience, demonstrating the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders. Knowledge and understanding of laws and regulations governed by the Department of Insurance and CMS. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate variable factors and develop practical recommendations. Excellent project management, organization, and prioritization skills, particularly when handling multiple complex and time-sensitive assignments. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain regulatory and compliance topics to leadership and non-technical audiences. Ability to work independently, exercise considerable judgment, and influence departmental strategy without requiring close direction. Audit or consulting experience is preferred.
