Our partner is looking for an Associate Director, Strategy & Insights, Patient First Digital Solutions based in Brazil. This is a high-impact, fully remote leadership opportunity at the intersection of clinical research, digital innovation, strategy, and patient experience. You will shape patient-centric recruitment and engagement strategies that help clinical trials become more accessible, efficient, and inclusive. The role combines strategic consulting, proposal development, client engagement, and cross-functional leadership. You will translate complex study requirements and patient needs into practical, evidence-based digital and decentralized solutions. Your expertise will directly influence client decisions, trial performance, participant engagement, and the adoption of innovative technologies. You will work with diverse stakeholders across clinical development, operations, digital solutions, and business development in a collaborative global environment. The position offers the opportunity to make a measurable contribution to advancing clinical research and improving health outcomes worldwide Analyze client requests for proposals (RFPs) and identify strategic opportunities to apply patient-centric methodologies that improve study design, recruitment, enrollment, and overall trial performance. Review clinical study protocols and patient populations to develop tailored strategies that expand access, support diversity, reduce participant burden, and strengthen engagement. Design innovative recruitment and engagement approaches using digital and decentralized clinical trial solutions. Develop compelling, data-driven proposal content that clearly communicates the value, innovation, feasibility, and measurable impact of recommended strategies. Lead client presentations, bid defenses, and strategic discussions, communicating recommendations with confidence and positioning patient-first solutions as differentiated approaches. Act as a strategic advisor and subject matter expert for clients and internal stakeholders, providing guidance on patient recruitment, digital solutions, and patient-centric clinical trial methodologies. Build strong cross-functional partnerships and ensure patient-first principles are effectively integrated across relevant teams and delivery processes. Anticipate the operational impact of study or strategy changes across functions and recommend optimized approaches to improve feasibility, efficiency, and outcomes. Support business development initiatives by contributing strategic expertise throughout the sales cycle and helping identify opportunities for growth and partnership development. Translate complex clinical and program strategies into clear, actionable plans with measurable outcomes. Advocate for the adoption of innovative patient-first technology solutions and contribute to the continuous evolution of digital clinical research approaches. Travel occasionally as required, generally within a range of up to 25%. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent academic or vocational qualification. 8+ years of relevant experience in patient recruitment, clinical research, digital clinical trial solutions, decentralized clinical trials, or closely related fields. Strong knowledge of the full clinical development lifecycle, including patient recruitment and engagement strategies. Demonstrated experience designing and implementing digital and decentralized clinical trial solutions. Proven ability to review clinical protocols and provide strategic consultancy focused on feasibility, recruitment, operational efficiency, and patient experience. Strong cross-functional leadership skills, with the ability to anticipate operational impacts and recommend alternative strategies. Demonstrated experience contributing to business development, growth initiatives, strategic partnerships, or the client proposal process.
