This is a mid-level information security engineering role focused on protecting critical corporate and cloud environments against evolving threats. You will work across cloud security, networks, monitoring, incident response, and risk mitigation, helping strengthen the organization’s overall security posture. The role combines hands-on troubleshooting with proactive threat identification and the implementation of robust security controls. You’ll investigate security events, respond to incidents, and develop practical solutions that balance technical protection with business needs. Automation and continuous improvement are important parts of the role, creating opportunities to streamline security operations and reduce manual effort. This is a strong opportunity for an analytical security professional who values autonomy, collaboration, and solving complex technical challenges. Perform troubleshooting across security and network environments to identify root causes of issues or confirm the absence of errors and security blocks. Work with security technologies including NG Firewalls, WAF, ZTNA, VPN, IPS, SIEM, EDR, network routing, and cloud-provider security tools. Monitor security environments and respond effectively to security incidents, supporting investigation, containment, and resolution. Analyze logs, security events, alerts, and network activity to identify potential threats and suspicious behavior. Conduct and contribute to security control assessments, identifying gaps and opportunities for improvement. Participate in information security risk management activities and help define appropriate mitigation measures. Apply security expertise to identify threats across corporate and cloud environments and recommend practical mitigation strategies. Develop creative and technically sound solutions for complex security challenges while balancing business requirements, operational needs, and risk. Support the continuous improvement of security processes, controls, workflows, and operational practices. Identify opportunities to automate repetitive security tasks and contribute to the development of automated solutions. Collaborate with technology and business teams to communicate security risks, incidents, recommendations, and remediation actions clearly. Help strengthen security governance and contribute to a proactive security culture across the organization. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, technical degree, or postgraduate qualification in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field. Professional experience conducting information security control assessments. Hands-on experience with security in cloud computing environments, particularly AWS ; experience with Google Cloud or Microsoft Azure is also relevant. Practical knowledge of security and network technologies such as firewalls, IPS, ZTNA, VPNs, proxies, network routing, WAF, and DLP. Experience with security monitoring, log analysis, and SIEM platforms. Advanced knowledge of networking concepts, including protocols, routing, and IP addressing. Intermediate knowledge of cloud computing environments, including AWS and/or Azure. Understanding of information security governance and security culture management. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate processes, workflows, records, and security events to identify risks and improvement opportunities. Structured and logical problem-solving skills, particularly when investigating complex technical issues and anticipating potential threats. High degree of autonomy and strong ownership of deliverables and results. Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
