This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Executive Director, Analytics Engineering based in United States. This senior leadership role will shape the foundation for analytics at enterprise scale, enabling teams to make smarter, more data-driven decisions. You will establish the systems, standards, frameworks, and capabilities required to make analytics consistent, trusted, and repeatable. The role spans multiple business domains, connecting analytics efforts across Commercial, Medical, Market Access, and other functions. You will champion analytical rigor, governance, quality assurance, and scalable analytics engineering practices. Success will require a balance of visionary thinking and pragmatic execution, turning ambiguous challenges into durable enterprise capabilities. You’ll work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to influence strategy and create solutions that can be reused across diverse business needs. This fully remote U.S. opportunity offers significant scope to institutionalize analytics as a strategic organizational capability. Establish and champion enterprise-wide analytics rigor, including statistical standards, validation protocols, quality assurance practices, and consistent methodologies. Define frameworks for measurement, performance metrics, reporting, and analytical standards that enable reliable decision-making across the organization. Build and institutionalize analytics engineering as a core discipline, including reusable data pipelines, analytics automation, and production-grade analytical solutions. Develop scalable capabilities and frameworks that allow analytical solutions to be transferred efficiently across use cases and business areas. Connect analytics initiatives across Commercial, Medical, Market Access, and other functions to improve collaboration, consistency, and organizational impact. Architect systems and operating models that make analytics a repeatable, trusted, and efficient enterprise capability. Support data and analytics governance, ensuring outputs meet applicable regulatory, ethical, quality, and compliance expectations. Partner closely with business leaders and functional stakeholders to bring data-driven insights and challenge assumptions where appropriate. Translate complex analytical and technical concepts into clear recommendations for both technical and non-technical audiences. Balance strategic design with operational execution, ensuring frameworks and capabilities translate into practical business outcomes. Establish structures that improve the full analytics lifecycle, from data ingestion and engineering through analysis and ultimately to business decision-making. Influence enterprise priorities by bringing a systems-level perspective on how analytics capabilities can drive better decisions and scalable impact. Requirements: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 10+ years of experience in data and analytics, with demonstrated success building scalable systems, frameworks, platforms, or capabilities. Proven experience establishing analytics standards, governance frameworks, measurement methodologies, or platform capabilities. Strong experience working cross-functionally across complex organizations, ideally within Commercial, Medical, Market Access, life sciences, healthcare, or another regulated environment. Experience with analytics engineering, business intelligence tools, data infrastructure, and scalable analytical solutions. Strong understanding of the end-to-end data lifecycle, from data ingestion and engineering through analysis and decision-making impact. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence technical and non-technical audiences.
