This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Named Account Manager-Public Sector (Healthcare) based in Canada. This is a strategic enterprise sales role focused on expanding cybersecurity solutions across the public healthcare sector in Ontario. You’ll own relationships with major healthcare organizations and engage senior technology and business decision-makers. The role combines new business development, account growth, strategic selling, and long-term relationship management. You’ll build qualified pipelines, manage complex sales cycles, and develop account strategies that support enterprise-wide deployments. Working closely with internal teams, you’ll shape proposals, RFP responses, bids, and solutions aligned with customer requirements. The position is ideal for a consultative, results-driven sales professional with strong healthcare relationships and cybersecurity expertise. Based in Toronto and operating remotely, the role includes travel across the territory to support customer and business needs. Develop and execute strategic account plans to win new business and expand existing relationships across public-sector healthcare organizations. Build trusted, long-term relationships with senior executives, including CIOs, CTOs, and senior directors within major healthcare institutions across the Greater Toronto and surrounding areas. Identify opportunities, generate a strong sales pipeline, qualify prospects, and maintain accurate forecasts throughout the sales cycle. Lead new business pitches and negotiate commercial terms to support enterprise-wide cybersecurity and networking deployments. Proactively onboard new clients while identifying opportunities to grow and deepen existing accounts. Partner with internal teams to develop contract bids, proposals, RFI/RFP responses, Statements of Work, and other customer-facing materials. Develop business plans and market strategies designed to increase sales, strengthen account penetration, and deliver sustainable growth. Work collaboratively across technical, sales, and business functions to align customer needs with appropriate cybersecurity and network solutions. Travel throughout the assigned territory as required to support customer engagements and business development activities. Maintain a customer-focused, consultative approach while progressing opportunities efficiently through the sales cycle. Contribute to negotiations and deal strategy while ensuring customer requirements and business objectives are effectively addressed. Requirements: 5+ years of professional sales experience within the public sector, preferably with significant exposure to healthcare organizations. Established relationships with senior decision-makers, particularly CIO, CTO, and senior director-level contacts within major healthcare organizations in the Greater Toronto Area. Strong understanding of the Ontario healthcare industry, organizational structures, procurement processes, and public-sector buying environments. Proven track record of achieving sales quotas and delivering measurable business results, with a stable and progressive sales career. Demonstrated experience selling cybersecurity, networking, or related enterprise technology solutions. Knowledge of network security technologies, including VPN, firewalls, antivirus, antispam, intrusion prevention, and content filtering. Ability to design and execute strategic business plans and market development strategies. Strong executive presentation, negotiation, written communication, and verbal communication skills. Highly self-motivated, independent, and commercially driven, with a proactive “hunter” mentality and strong ownership of the sales cycle.
