Role Summary The Registered Nurse (RN) supports pre-op, PACU, and stepdown patient care. This position is responsible for assessing patients, delivering individualized nursing care, monitoring recovery, and collaborating with the surgical team to ensure safe, efficient procedures and optimal outcomes. What You’ll Do - Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in perioperative settings - Monitor patient status and respond to changes during recovery - Document accurately and communicate effectively with team members and patients - Maintain sterile environments and adhere to safety protocols - Support patient education and post-op instructions What You’ll Bring - Graduate of an accredited RN program - Current NJ RN license (unencumbered) - At least 1 year of perioperative nursing experience (within last 3–5 years) - Current BLS requried and ACLS required by end of introductory period - Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills Physical & Work Environment Requirements - Frequent standing, walking, lifting, and manual dexterity - Exposure to surgical environments, equipment, and patient care areas - Full-time, on-site position (Tuesday–Friday) Compensation & Benefits - Competitive pay with medical, dental, and vision insurance - 401(k), PTO, and paid holidays - Opportunities for ongoing education and professional growth - Supportive, team-oriented work environment
