SECURITY CLEARANCE: TS/SCI with both Polygraphs is required POSITION: Senior Network Engineer REQUISITION: KEY-NE3-03.080626) LOCATION: Ft. Meade, Maryland JOB DESCRIPTION: Provides Network support that requires system level design, architecture or enterprise security and security boundaries, datacenter virtualization, CAN/MAN/LAN infrastructure packet capture software, TCP/IP protocol stack, routing/switching protocols, stateful firewalls, and L3/L4 access controls. • (U) Cisco IOS, CatOS, NxOS, filter and access control, Ciscoworks, TACACS+, ASA, FWSM, HP Openview, Cisco routers, Cisco Switches, F5/Cisco load balancers, Infiniband, Juniper, FiberChannel (FC) SAN, and VPN (IPSEC) • (U) Physical installation and configuration and troubleshooting of network routers, switches, load balancers and security devices. • (U) Strong knowledge of TCP/IP protocol stack and routing and switching protocols. • (U) Strong working knowledge of L2/L3 protocols. • (U) Strong working knowledge of stateful firewalls, and L3 access controls. • (U) Working knowledge of Atlassian Tool Suite. • (U) Able to support on-call requirements. • (U) Able to work in live call environment and utilize remedy and/or other ticketing system to track tasking. • (U) Virtualization products; VMWare and Solaris containers. LCAT QUALIFICATIONS: CERTIFICATION: DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification EXPERIENCE: • Bachelor’s degree + 8 years minimum experience, OR • No Degree + 10 years minimum experience, OR • 8 (eight) years demonstrable experience in network engineering (LAN), architecture, monitoring, security, and protection. Must have datacenter network design and architecture experience to include installation and configuration of Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and IPSEC virtual private networks. • 2 (two) years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree. NOTE: Bachelor’s degree in related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
