Banking & Finance Lawyer

We are currently seeking Banking, Finance & Financial Services Lawyers to work with a variety of Axiom clients. Responsibilities: Provide practical, commercially focused legal advice across a range of banking, finance and/or regulated financial-services matters, depending on client need. Support lending, financing, commercial, regulatory, product, governance, risk and business-as-usual matters for financial institutions, regulated businesses and corporate clients. Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of documentation, including finance agreements, security documents, commercial contracts, customer terms, outsourcing and technology agreements, policies and regulatory materials. Partner with legal, compliance, risk, finance, treasury, product, commercial and senior business stakeholders to manage legal risk and deliver pragmatic advice in fast-paced environments. Minimum Qualifications: Qualified lawyer eligible to practise in the UK, or an equivalent overseas qualification with strong relevant UK experience. Experience gained within a law firm, in-house legal team, financial institution, fintech, regulated business or other relevant commercial environment. Strong drafting, review, negotiation and advisory experience across banking and finance, financial services, commercial contracts, regulatory, product, governance or risk matters. Excellent commercial awareness, legal judgment, communication, stakeholder-management and analytical skills, with the ability to deliver practical, business-focused advice.
